The romantic era of streamliners are captured in many of these paintings featuring the grand railroads of the United States. There are also pictures from the Durango & Silverton RR, as well as a number of paintings of historic trolleys. I was a boy when the last great steam locomotives worked the rails and I have seen vast changes in our nation’s rail system over the course of my life. These paintings capture the great spirit of travel and discovery into which I was nurtured.
